Lots of people seem to have found maths easier...
but take a look at my grades to find which i found easier!
biology - A*
maths - C.
actually maths isn't hard. I just found it MIND NUMBINGLY BORING.

maths is much more straightforward than biology -with maths you just have to learn everything and regurgitate it. with biology you have to have more exam technique and things like writing skills...
i think what you enjoy will have a huge part to play in what you find easy!

Don't choose subjects based on what is "Easier".
Choose them on what you're interested in, what career path you want, what you're good at...

None of them are "Easy" in that you're 100% guaranteed to get a good grade.

I do both Maths and Biology at AS (dropping Maths next year).
Depends what you're good at. If you have some natural talent in maths you will find it very easy. With biology if you're good at memorising a lot of information you'll be good at it too. I agree with people as well that Biology exams can be a bit dodgy too in that you can get the right answer but if it's not what the mark scheme wants, you will not get a mark. AQA seem to be really particular with what you want to write so you have to spend a lot of time studying mark schemes as well if you want a really good mark, whereas there isn't really exam technique involved in maths - you just do the questions and if you get the right answer (of which there's only 1 most of the time) you get the marks.
Personally I'm better at remembering facts than doing maths questions so I find maths more difficult a lot of the time, but biology exams can be a bit hit and miss even if you know your stuff.

I took both biology and maths at a level.

Personally, I find biology much easier! I enjoyed maths upto a level but now I find it really hard to understand and no longer enjoy it.

Its a personal opinion. Everyone is better at different subjects.

What I will say is so long as you can recall formulas maths should be fine. In biology you have to learn and remember a lot more information. And the language has to be so specific.

If you're good at Maths, Maths is definitely easier because there is an awful lot to memorise in Biology. But then, if you're good at remembering a lot of stuff then maybe Biology is better. If Maths isn't your strong point then a lot of practise is needed. Choose the one where your strengths lie and if that's both of them, then choose both.

Biology is a bitch alright those markschemes are sooo specific but the content is quite interesting for me i do Human Biology and aparently thats even harder than Biology
