I'm not, but I have a friend who is, and she is interesting in getting in contact with people before the course starts (just to chat and stuff) but doesn't have a TSR account, so here I am :P

So are any of you starting CompSci at Edinburgh this September?

I'll (probably) be studying MSc Theoretical Computer Science (although I'm half-inclined to switch to parallel systems). I'd love to get in touch with other new students to Edinburgh, I feel the department is so big and impersonal.

Both going to start in september, and making my TSR account after reading this thread. It is a nice thing to get some connections right from start and meeting people with the same interests

Ah okay. As far as I gather they are all rather good universities. I guess it depends if you want to live in really big cities, or a smaller one like Edinburgh.

according to fee its UCL > EDIN >Manchstr ...so being an international student its better to join Manchester ....also do You have knowledge abt vich uni. offers better job opportunities ?
