She's very pretty but she doesn't look like the "most beautiful" person EVER. Her eyes are a little too close together to have a perfect ratio. all in all I think this kind of thing is incredibly stupid. Our society is so vapid! We waste NEWS space on this utter bull****? Just so people can debate about if an attractive woman is THE most attractive? ugh.

Beauty is subjective; I think we can all agree she's attractive but I wouldn't say she's beautiful.

while she might fit the ratios the symmetry between each eye and each eyebrow and each half of her face is actually quite noticeable and off putting draw a line down the middle of her face and it looks like two slightly different people.

This story reminds me of Ben Goldacre's talking of waist-to-hip ratio (WHR).

Also remember that despite all the talk of statistical ratios, the story is from a beauty competition that she won, not statisticians - who, unlike statisticians, are likely to make out that she wins out on the stats whether she does or not.

Note on the Goldacre link how they announced that scientists had found that Jessica Alba had the perfect figure. In fact, it wasn't serious stats, and Alba had come 7th.

This story reeks of this again. I may be wrong - she really may have statistically the most perfect face ever. But I'm dubious.
