positive/negative impacts of TNC on MEDC?

Can anyone tell me what the positive and negative impacts of a TNC or MNC would be on an MEDC?

Introduction of new capital (just in time-Nissan)

Most of the high level jobs are taken by people from
Origin country
Pollution
Sometimes they can become very powerful so the government may have to keep them sweet
Most of the money is sent back to origin country.

Income is earned > can afford food > healthier children > parents can afford to send children to school > children get an education > increased education > higher skilled workers > Increase in GDP > increase in standard of living.

This is the ideal scenario, whether this is what happens in the real world is negligible.
