I'd disagree, Beats have just become boring and generic now that everybody and their nan has them. Even if they did look worse, I'd take a less stylish pair that sound three times as good as Beats, as each of those headphones does. Each to their own when it comes to looks, I guess, but it boggles my mind when people buy headphones with fashion being the prime motivator.
While I despise beats, I would have to agree with them. None of those look anything close to resembling "fashionable" to me.

Not that I like chunky headphones like that anyway.

Have you owned the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Closed Headphone I'm worried it presses into your head from reading the reviews...
I haven't owned them but I've used them a couple of times. Clamping force really isn't that strong, and the pads are very comfortable. Besides, if you're after high degrees of isolation it's something you'll have to put up with whatever you go for anyway since anything that claims to be an isolating headphone will rely on a proper seal.

Meh, maybe I've spent too much time using ugly headphones and now have far lower standards in terms of aesthetics. I certainly wouldn't call any of those cans ugly though either way.

PX-200ii sound as good as beats and are a fraction of the price and look cool.

I review gadgets for a part-time job, on my site and I can tell you with experience that while beats offer superior sound quality than that of standard iPod or phone earphones, they're defineltely not superior to the likes of Bose and Sennheiser. In fact some of the best earphones that we've ever review were from this little comapny called RHA, chekc them out if you want. But frankly unless they're offered free with something beats aren't worth it. Dare I say it? They're as common as muck. Frankly they're just rebranded Monster headphones with an extra £50 on the price, and Monster's nto exactly known for value for money. If you enjoy your beats for their aesthetic then I have no problem but if you enjoy them for sound quality then you are a fool.

Best Value for Money: RHA, Sennheiser HD202,

Best overall; try some Bose or Sennheiser high end ones.

Sorrry for the rant though, just had enough of the endless Beats sound better, or people craving beats like their made of pure gold

The AKG K81DJ are a very nice sounding headphone for the price and isolate pretty well. You'd get better isolation from an in-ear monitor though, for which I'd recomnend saving a bit extra and getting the VSonic GR06.
