Films that portray romantic relationships between a straight woman and a lesbian?I'm writing a piece on 'the predatory lesbian' (or not, as the case may be) in cinema, so any recommendations of films in which a heterosexual woman engages in a sexual relationship with a gay woman would be greatly appreciated.
So far I've got:

Re: Films that portray romantic relationships between a straight woman and a lesbian?I can't remember the name, it was about a women who became a prostitute, then one night one of the guys tried to rape her and then she kept doing the same thing over and over, to please her partner as she was getting the money. She was finally caught and her partner testified against her. I can't remember if in the end the girl she was with was heterosexual/ Bisexual or was homosexual.
I kno really useful right?
Brief description, got a really bad memory. Gonna be wondering what it was called all night

It's been quite some time since I last saw it, but and I'm pretty sure it's more from the point of view of the homosexual girl who pursues the heterosexual girl, rather than the other way around. It's a really wonderful film though, directed by Lukas Moodysson who went on to direct Together and Lilya 4-eva.
I'm trying to rack my brain for a Breillat movie that involves female homosexuality, I'm pretty sure at least one of her movies has, but I can't recall which one. Maybe Romance? If you're unfamiliar with her, Catherine Breillat is a pretty infamous French director whose films generally explore female sexuality in rather interesting ways. They also feature a lot of real rather than simulated sex scenes, which is where is infamy comes from. Which is nice. -

The Hunger (1983) David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve, Susan Sarandon..Woman in a relationship with a guy seduced (?) by a vampire.
High Art (1998) Beautiful film.
Gazon Maudit (1995) Very funny French film! Involving a married woman (to a very badly behaved husband) and a gay woman.
Wild Side (1995) Crime land. Banking executive meets money launderer. Some dodgy scenes but excellent scenes too. Christopher Walken, Anne Heche, Joan Chen.
