Great break for the masters students still left doing dissertations in libraries around the country, I say!!!

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VII tried getting some gardening done and considering the heat thought that clearing some of the flower beds would be fairly pleasant. Oh god I was so wrong. 30 minutes later I was coated with sweat and no amount of antihistamine was going to stop me feeling miserable.
The humidity is just ridiculously oppressive. Apparently it's disappearing tomorrow, which will be a relief. -

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIToday in parts of the south there has been sunshine, a rare commodity especially in the weeks of the Wimbledon tennis championships. Let's be different and dress stylishly and not complain that it is 'oh so hot'.
Normal weather for the whole of the UK returns tomorrow. -
