    Great break for the masters students still left doing dissertations in libraries around the country, I say!!!



    Oh and it is one way to make re-alphabetising the History section more interesting for ya!

    I was listing computer games online today. Three computers in close proximity to six people in a tiny room. I think I might have heatstroke.

    I tried getting some gardening done and considering the heat thought that clearing some of the flower beds would be fairly pleasant. Oh god I was so wrong. 30 minutes later I was coated with sweat and no amount of antihistamine was going to stop me feeling miserable.

    The humidity is just ridiculously oppressive. Apparently it's disappearing tomorrow, which will be a relief.

    Today in parts of the south there has been sunshine, a rare commodity especially in the weeks of the Wimbledon tennis championships. Let's be different and dress stylishly and not complain that it is 'oh so hot'.

    Normal weather for the whole of the UK returns tomorrow.

    Sweltering heat and rain are not mutually exclusive in lovely Manchester.

    Not according to photos from my childhood Although I agree that it doesn't snow as much as it does in other parts of the area. (Polmont in the snow is always a hoot.)
