Re: The Commons Bar Mk VISounds tasty(Original post by paperclip)
Just add the chilli as you go along, to taste. Or add in extra apple juice. Although i have always wanted to replace the apple juice with pineapple juice in that recipe, just out of interest.
How about a halloumi stew?
3 onions
2 peppers
3 cloves garlic
2 tinned tomatoes
tomato puree
half a bottle of red wine
1 tin butter beans (drain)
1 tin sweet corn (drain)
2 packets of halloumi (drain and cut into chuncks 1cm wide
Italian herbs
Olive oil
Salf and pepper to season
Basically the recipe is to whack it all in a pot. Start with the onions, and brown them. Then add the peppers and garlic along with half of the wine. About ten minutes later add everything else. Bubble it all up for around 35-40 minutes.

I'm sure it would be even more tastier if you added bacon

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VII hear good things about HTC.(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)
Any recommendations for a new phone? My iPhone 4 has given up the ghost and is out of warranty so I'm just going to pay to early upgrade. I'll stick with Orange and all I really need is decent internet usage. A quality camera and other such things are unimportant to me. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIStress is physiologically measurable, although i cannot remember whether the physiological reaction comes before or after the psychological. Although by his rationality, there is also no such thing as happiness.(Original post by MacCuishy)
I was talking to one of my friends today and he said that there is "no such thing as stress"
What a sheltered middle-class life he lives. -

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIBecause you don't have to worry about things like that - you have the pieces of paper called money.(Original post by tehFrance)
Again I ask what being middle class has to do with it?
My friend probably hasn't been about 2 miles near a council estate though
I'm not going to start a class war here though - as I guess out numbered as a working class lad. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIAre you calling me middle class? I am insulted, calling me poor(Original post by MacCuishy)
