Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIThat was bad enough(Original post by sandys1000)
I'm sorry, but you know this how? I would be almost certain that they were meant as tongue in cheek, and were not seriously wishing her dead.
then he tried to make the absurd suggestion that the others would be trying to do it to someone from the left. He tried to justify his behaviour. That's when he overstepped the line. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIThanks for the history lesson! Anyway, people take Thatcher as she is. I prefer Meryl Streep myself.(Original post by Keckers)
He wasn't a tyrant when he was elected (even though he wasn't truly elected, he became chancellor almost by default). He was a tyrant because the first thing he did was use emergency powers to strip away basic rights of the German people. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIOh no.(Original post by Rakas21)
Both have admitted so stating 'but the right would do the same if a leftie died'. They were meant with malice and have substantially lowered my level of respect for themselves and the parties they represent -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VISave it, we're not interested(Original post by Moleman1996)
Morgsie really is destroying the Lib Dems reputation. For the sake of your party, he has to go. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VITerry Tate is awesome(Original post by MacCuishy)
I'd recommend watching all the Terry Tates, but here is just one. It's for Reebok BTW.

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VI(Original post by davidmarsh01)
Oh no.I lack the capacity to rep you both.(Original post by thunder_chunky)
Save it, we're not interested
UCL just gave me an offer. So now assuming I get the 2,1 I can choose between two different London Unis. Anybody in here care to make me consider UCL? At the moment it's KCL by a long way. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIBest advice I can give is to look around both if it is possible to get a better idea of what both unis are like. If there are any open days, try to get to them and discuss the course etc with them. If not, still try to visit to get a feel for both places.(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VII don't know if I'll get the chance in the next four weeks, which is the deadline UCL has set to respond (whereas KCL only needs it by July). It's going to be KCL, since the course is much more to my liking, but it's always wise to consider.(Original post by toronto353)

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIThe key thing is the course really. I always tell people to consider the course first and foremost and it sounds like you have made your decision so I'd perhaps wait a week or two, but if there's nothing really stopping you, just go for what you think is best.(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIYeah. UCL is also a mite more expensive and King's has an intern ship which you can apply for so jobsjobsjobs etc. Ta.(Original post by toronto353)

Re: The Commons Bar Mk VII think you know where you'll be going though and you're welcome - it's partially what I'm an FA for!(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)
Yeah. UCL is also a mite more expensive and King's has an intern ship which you can apply for so jobsjobsjobs etc. Ta. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VIWhere are they at then?(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)
Yeah. UCL is also a mite more expensive and King's has an intern ship which you can apply for so jobsjobsjobs etc. Ta. -
Re: The Commons Bar Mk VII'd go for the internship if nothing more. Almost everyone in my course got job offers from the companies they interned with, and research from High Fliers supports this by showing that on average I think about half of graduate positions were already filled from their interns.(Original post by Thunder and Jazz)

Where are they at then?Various think tanks/lobbying groups. I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be offered one, but it never hurts to try and it helps to get yourself at least known in the industry if you can.(Original post by Smack)
