Resolution 2012/04 - Concerning the Situation in North Korea
The following resolution has been voted on in the Security Council but failed because it was vetoed by the representative for India. The General Assembly will now vote one more time to see if it agree's with the resolution (vote yes) or if it agree's with the veto (vote no.)
Since no more debate is required I will kick off the debate straight away, the vote will last for three days.

Re: Resolution 2012/04 - Concerning the Situation in North KoreaIran respects the sovereign right of North Korea to develop it's military capability how it sees fit. Iran has suffered similar attempts to destabilise it's military testing programme, and stands firmly behind the DPRK.
Indonesia considers North Korea's actions to be highly damaging to regional security, and welcomes this Resolution.
