Yeah im pretty sure it was the coolant which was liquid to gas
I got that too as I thought the coolant needs to take in heat energy from the water to change state from liguid to gas .

Well done to both of you! We should hopefully be getting 1's for the final.

Are you taking higher next year?

    I have indeed.

Can't really get a good picture as to how hard it is though as some people are saying it was their easiest highers whilst others where saying it was impossible.

The course sounds quite interesting though.

    Yeah the course looks great.

My physics teacher says it is a really difficult course, but i guess if you put the work in from day one, study as per required, then you've got a decent chance of getting a good grade.

    2 days = 12 hour half life = 4 half lives

So just half the number 4 times

Yeah me too.. I memorised almost everything to do with Health Physics and there was hardly anything on it!

Hey guys :-) what did you put for the question that asked you to previously calculate the final speed of the falling tile, but the following question which asked why the calculated speed was different than the technicians? I put because the calculated speed was an average? Fail!!!

I think I said something along the lines of some of the energy was used in other ways (eg. sound) but I don't really have much confidence in that answer.

i put that the total energy used for calculation wouldn't be used for simply speed
