Hi, there is just 2 questions. if you could just tell me those.

One like a cupboard or something, and the top bit was a triangle. It splits into a rectangle and a triangle and you find the side of the triangle.

And another questions, where in a you find one side, AC or something , then in B you find an angle. You use COS A = b^2 + c^2 - a^2 over 2bc. I want to know the answer to B.

Thanks

What did people get in the paper 2, question 12 b?

I used the quadrant things with 11.5

did 360-11.5
and
180=11.5

Because sin-1(0.6/3)= 11.5
Reply 133
sorry :

11.5 + 180

and 360 -11.5

Reply 135
Oh crap! I just got x= 11.5 and x= 180 - 11.5= 168.5 :frown:
Reply 136
its add because you want it in the bottom two quads me thinks.
Reply 137
But I got it as x=cos^-1 0.2
And 0.2 would be in the top half...? :frown:
