AQA Media Studies AS case study
My media exams coming up soon, and my class haven't really covered the case study, so I was wondering if I could pick my own???O_o The one I have in mind is the Pokemon franchise, since I know a lot about it, from years of playing the games and watching the shows.

In our class we did a particular genre - teen drama's - and were allowed to pick a couple of teen drama's to do a case study on, whilst studying 'Skins' in class. I picked "Waterloo Road" as, although it's not particularly a 'teen drama', it is a drama with teens in it and I think I can talk a lot about and compare that fact with your usual 'teen dramas' and how the conventions are slightly different because of this.

Yes! If fact, in class we are encouraged to choose our own case study alongside the ones the class did too. Be sure to research and reference the different platforms too (Web, Print, Broadcast, etc.)
