Have you visited each location? Depending on the UWS campus, that will be a very different experience than being in a city like Glasgow or Aberdeen, for example. This could be something that sways your decision. You might also want to consider locational factors in terms of distance from home - if you're from Northern Ireland then Glasgow or UWS will be easier to get to than Aberdeen but if you're from Inverness then it'd be easier to get to Aberdeen.

Then also you need to look at the course content as the placement structure will be different at each university, as will the curriculum content that you cover in lectures. At some universities you will do a non school based educational placement and at other universities you might get a chance to have a subject specialism in addition to your degree. These are all really important things you should consider as whilst you'll come out with the same qualification, there will be differences in how you train in school and how you're taught. I would also look to see which universities offer additional courses/qualifications which will help you when applying for jobs. For example, I believe Glasgow offer a chance for you to study the certificate to teach in Catholic schools - you can teach in one without one, but your application will be stronger with the additional qualification. Added extras like this will be really useful when you start applying for jobs after your probationary year.

its soo hard to decide i took in all of that into consideration and i think i shall put strathclyde and uws (ayr) because youre right aberdeen is too far for me and it costs a lot too :/ also glasgow does have that advanatge but i prefer strathclyde and i dont think i should put both of them down incase i miss them both and not get in at all :s thank you so much for replying i was so worried about what one to choose :s
