Re: What is your Holy Grail foundation?
Atm it's Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions. I like it because I have awful skin and it's the only foundation that doesn't feel like it's making it worse. Plus it has good coverage so you only have to dab a bit on meaning you don't have to clog up your whole face. I am very tempted to try Estee Lauder Double Light once it's run out though.

NARS Sheer Glow. £29 for a bottle but my god it's a gift to womens skin. -

Clinique super balanced is amazing - I have quite an oily t-zone but this helps keep it shine free through out the day
I use the Clinique powder on top and the two work great together
pricey but deffo worth it!

Re: What is your Holy Grail foundation?I unfortunately have had a full bottle of that stuff sitting in the back of my cupboard since I bought it last September. I find the texture horrible and very thick and it seems to take a lot of effort to get right(Original post by tillytots)
NARS Sheer Glow. £29 for a bottle but my god it's a gift to womens skin.
also love Bourjois healthy mix

Diorskin Nude! To be fair it's the only foundation I've ever bought (on my second bottle) so I can't really compare it...but it does give good coverage to my bad skin without feeling like it's clogging it up. It is about £30 though which sucks but it lasts for ages

Re: What is your Holy Grail foundation?Ahhh and the search for the perfect foundation continues...(Original post by hmaus)
I also have a bottle of Nars lying abandoned
Never tried the Sheer Glow but for a while I was loving Sheer Matte. I got it on holiday in a hotter climate and thought it was great as it looked natural, stayed on perfectly and eliminated all shine, but I went to use it this morning for a change instead of my usual Double Wear and it looked horrendous - so powdery and made me look like I had really dry patches on my face even though I don't have dry skin at all (usually more oily if anything)
Not sure if it can have gone off as it wasn't that long ago that I bought it and it hasn't been lying in the sunlight or anything...

I like L'Oreal True Match, especially mixed with Benefit You Rebel tinted moisturiser
The Max Factor ones are fairly decent, and I used to love Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect, but it transferred onto everything like my phone, my scarf and my boyfriend's coat haha.
I use the Clinique powder on top and the two work great together
