    Engineering: HELP.
Basically I'm taking maths, further maths, chemistry and physics as levels.

I am currently thinking about taking General Engineering at University, but this year I have taken Mech 1 and Mech 2, and although I got a high A in M1, I really don't enjoy mechanics what so ever, and was wondering, is this an indication that I won't enjoy an Engineering degree and is a bad choice?

    Thanks

i couldnt say, but the M modules can be quite tedious i'm sure everyone who's done them has felt the same way at some point.

Have a look on one of the university course modules, have a look what you'll be doing, if its all math mechs maybe look at another area.

Mechanics are a main part of any engineering course. So take a long hard think if you would like 3 years of mechanics which gets harder year by year! But don't be put off, just put the work in.

If you have your eyes set on engineering then have a go and after the first year if it is not to your liking change the course. You can easily get onto a different course and go straight into year two.

I didn't particularly enjoy one of the M modules can't remember whether it was 2 or 3 but I have enjoyed it a lot more now at Uni, it just depends on how it is taught, in my opinion.
