    opinions and thoughts welcome....

    hardly the best but i think Two Door Cinema Club need a mention in this thread. and so does fenech soler.

    Iron Maiden for still going strong.
    Led Zeppelin for downright awesome, never forgotten.

    But for recent bands it's either The Darkness or this small indie band called "Fiction". Search "big things by fiction", it is catchy

    Ever? Oh dear Lord.
    Top 5 would be David Bowie (not a band but essential), Roxy Music, Pulp, Wire aaaaaand The Clash.
    But I could list at least 50, if not more, others.

    Someone's got to say Radiohead surely...

    I know I don't like everything about them, especially the early stuff, but in terms of hits they take some beating!

    That's really difficult, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Dire Straits, Muse..... I can't choose!

    Iron Maiden+Airbourne in Sheff was the greatest night of my life so far!
