Sunderland - move-in time? (not date)
Anyone know what time you can move in from and what time people normally do, will probably end up at The Forge if I go here?

Edit: Have since found the answer elsewhere. For anyone who reads this and was wondering the same thing I've found out the move-in days will be Saturday 15th September + Sunday 16th September for 2012 and the times will be 10am - 4pm. You can move-in outside of those times/at a later date but you have to contact them so they can make special arrangements for you.

Whenever. Ring them up and they'll tell you if it's ok.

Whenever? But they must have an earliest time surely? I can't see them letting people move in at 2am and such times. I'm not ringing them because I don't even have an offer of accommodation yet and it's my insurance choice, just want to know if I'm looking at being able to move in at 9am or 10am etc?

Ok 2am is a bit unreasonable, but 9am, 10am etc. should be fine. Basically, if you do end up going to Sunderland, just ring them up in advance and ask what times will be ok.

At my firm it's from 10am though, that's why I'm not so sure about 9am. Also what about 8am? Surely there's a current Sunderland student in halls on here who remembers what time they could move in from? If I end up actually going I know they'll tell you with the acommodation offer that you can move in between x and y but just trying to figure out things in advance.

I think you're thinking about this way too much.

I like to be organised and know what I'm doing in advance. Now I know the times for both firm + insurance choices I've been able to discuss it with my parents and they've been able to sort things with work so they can definitely both come with me and help me move-in regardless of where I end up.
