    Games Development at Solent?
    Hey guys,

I got an offer from Solent for Games Developement a while back and an offer from Staffordshire doing Computer Games Programming. I know that the course in Staffordshire is pretty good but I also know its a sausage fest and theres hardly any clubs! I'm sure that the nightlife is alot better in Solent but I'm not sure if the course is as good as staffordshire. I didn't manage to go down to Southampton for the Open days either so it makes it harder for me to decide. Hoping anyone would know which would be best? Would be great if anyone doing the course now could tell me how it is also

    Thanks

I live in Penkridge, literally five minutes down the road from Stafford. The night life is awful, I really wouldnt recommend it at all. The only bar that you'll hear of us Cachors or something and apparently its full of idiots. Nightlife in solent is much better, plus its a far nicer place in general.

No idea about staffordshire but im here at solent doing animation, we worked closely with the gamers in 1st year... And their course looks like the real deal. from what ive seen the standard of work it pretty high, n the facilities (which you share with the 3D animators) are top as well. your right about the nightlife here, its quality.
