Psychology; Nottingham or Sheffield for firm?
Hi guys, I've chosen Glasgow as my insurance but I'm torn between Nottingham and Sheffield for my firm.

In the complete university guide Sheffield is a bit higher than Nottingham for Psychology. However, in the same guide Nottingham is higher as an overall institution. There's my predicament. What should I choose?

    Thanks.

I am in the exact same situation! Well in the sense that I am torn between choosing Sheffield or Nottingham as my firm. Can I ask if you've made a decision?

    Choosing Nottingham is winning.

But I'm from Notts, so I'm biased.

Sheffield is a good city though.

i was in the same situation as well!!

haha it was Nottingham or Sheffield for me.

All i can say is, I picked Sheffield and I am so glad i did. The Psychology department is brilliant, the University Health is great, there is sooooooo many more socieities in the Union. The Union has its own nights out every single night. My housemate is from Nottingham, she says the night life in Sheffield is so much cheaper and better.

The buses are 60p. Meadowhall is really nearby. The student areas are generally nice and safe.

I understand the predicament- but in the end I chose Sheffield, and I dont regret my doing so.
