If you were 16 and had £600-£800 what would you buy? I need some advice on upcoming event. I'd like to save some of it.
Dunno why on earth people are negging you - I've upvoted you to counter it

Saving aside (as I'd probably save pretty much all of it):

I'd buy stuff off my list

    CD collection wanted list
    iPod Classic
    over-ear headphones
new laptop / parts for a 'rig' as we call it
    nomnoms
    new tennis racket + lessons
    piano lessons
etc. (so many things teenagers want, the gadget show competition makes me drool)

I would do as I essentially did do, and save it until I was 17, and then use it to fund my driving lessons/test. It took me a lot of lessons, so probably would have used all of that!

I've been saving money from birthdays,Christmases and pocket money for years now. I detest spending money and watching my pitiful funds decrease, so I would genuinely put it in the bank ready for uni

Let's see I'm around that age... I'd save all of it. Donate a bit to charity. Save it, collect interest and save that... I can see dollar signs lol. I never really buy much for myself. Only if I need something. I mainly save and buy Christmas presents for everyone I can. Or you could save up for a car (My top car is an Astin Martin...yeah...). Lol

I think he was trying to get reps as he's implying that Greece is pretty much worthless as it's bankrupt

Really? Perhaps you're the idiot for not spotting that it was a joke. I was insinuating that you can buy the whole of Greece for £1000, because it's in such dire economic straits.

So, QED, you're a fool. Or, as Ricky Gervais would say, a mong. Although he got in trouble for saying that, so I won't.

    Oh, and: negback, bro.

It was a racist "joke", that was my point!
