Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**You need to go through the book again.(Original post by QwertyG)
Mistakes isnt even my problem for C2 there's usually one or two questions (like part c or d) which I dont know how to do
I found C2 extremely easy last year, its just the case of understanding, try to go through the book examples, do a few questions from each exercise.
Also watch www.examsolutions.co.uk videos, they are very helpful.
Don't continue with past papers, if you are struggling on them, first strengthen your understanding. -

I seen most of the exam solution videos yeh probably need to complete the C2 book again but I don't know how long it will take - I got S1 revision and also 2 of my other subjects :// -
Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**To be honest, both S1 and C2 aren't very difficult.(Original post by QwertyG)

C2 takes a lot of time to learn because it is long.
S1 is long, but doesn't takes much time. I self-studied both S1 and S2 in around 15 days.
I really don't understand what you mean by revision, its about preparation rather than revision, if you understand everything than you can revise a day before the exam and get full marks, while if you don't understand things, then you don't need to revise but you need to study the contents from the start again.
My approach always is to do all questions from the book. Then the day before the exam i go through the examples in the book, try 1-2 past papers, and that's all i do.
NB: I self-study maths. -
Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**I'm getting around 70/75 as well! S1 is not too bad getting 65-67/75 so far.(Original post by QwertyG)
80% roughly - I got 70/75 today (June 2011 paper) -
Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**
All the formula's needed are given so there isn't really any memorization to do. If you understand the maths, you won't really have much problem with this paper... Timing really isn't an issue either if you practice enough. My biggest problem is making stupid mistakes.

Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**Use the edexcel C2 book, it is more than enough for C2.(Original post by QwertyG)
Guys what is the best resource to practice these differentiation questions - Application differentiation (shapes and ****) -
Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**Please could you reply to my PM mate, cheers.(Original post by raheem94)

Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**hmm... You could look through past papers and purposely go for the differentiation question and look at the markschemes (I think the papers go up to 2003!).(Original post by QwertyG)
Timing isnt a problem lol if you practice enough
I just did the Jan 05 paper and got everything right PART FROM THE WHOLE OF THE DIFFERENTIATION QUESTION!!
what is the best way to practice these type of questions
But imho if it is not a one off you should check your understanding. The CGP guide is ok at explaining it in sort of a watered down way. You could try Khan academy, an online tutorial, but it's not course specific... or try exam solutions which someone suggested. Ask your teacher is my best bet, that's what they're for
(unless they don't even get it in which case you're screwed

Re: **Edexcel C2 24/5/12 Discussion**Yes, the range specified in your question would include -45 so you would include it in your answer as well as -45+180(Original post by cheesecake11)
with a trig , with a negative angle , eg -180<0<180 with tan0-1 (-1) , would you give the negative angle as a final answer?
