Hi everyone. I'm an ex-Cantab currently doing an MA in Broadcast Journalism. For my course, I have to make a 12-minute documentary about a topical issue. Mine is about Cambridge access - and I'd like your help.

If any of you have exceptional access stories I'd like to hear from you. You could be an applicant, offerholder, current student or recent alumnus - or maybe you didn't apply at all. Perhaps you were encouraged by an inspirational teacher; maybe you were discouraged and you regret not applying (if you've ever been told that Oxbridge "wasn't for the likes of you", I'd be interested to hear); maye you conquered some impressive obstacles to get a place. Either way, I'd like to hear from you.

I'd also be interested to find some charismatic teachers. If there's a particular teacher who has made a difference to the way you and other students saw Oxbridge, point me in their direction: it would be great to interview them.

If you have any information about these things, either post in this thread or send me a PM. I'm based in London, so preferably I'd film in London or the southeast, and ideally I'd like to film between May 7 and May 18. The documentary is not for broadcast.
