Brand new will almost certainly be Amazon. I wouldn't buy a secondhand one.

    Why not?

Also, does anyone know how fast the MAX battery begins to fall?

    After how much usage etc?

I don't think it will, I think Apple stop anyone from under-cutting them on the price it's sold for in Apple stores.

I wouldn't buy expensive electronics on fleabay. The chances of being dun over are considerable.

I bought my classic off ebay, loads of scratches and an engraving but I just bought a leather wallet for it. Although I bid on one in my area so I could pick it up and inspect it myself.

The battery life will obviously be poor but depends how often you use it. I'm always plugged in and normally manage 2-3 days without a charge.

Look on pricerunner.com (it might be co.uk ) It tells you the cheapest place to buy them.

If you want a cheap music player, don't get an iPod. You are just paying for the brand.

Not always. The Classic in particular is unrivalled as a huge capacity player, and the only rivals to the Touch in terms of sheer feature set are Samsung's Galaxy Players, and then it's a question of OS preference.

Defo not CEX. So overpriced. The only reason to buy something in that store is if you have something to trade it.

Does the 64GB touch actually have 64GB or in real life is it 62.8 GB or something like that?

I ask because i have about 64.2GB of music.

I believe the operating system occupies about 1.5GB of space, so it will be just over 62GB of usable memory.

I wouldn't buy any Apple product secondhand, their lifespan isn't great as it is.

    How would they do that?

A simple look at both websites shows that Amazon sell it for £16 cheaper.

I have an iPod Mini from 2004 that's going strong, and my 2006 iPod Video was running like a dream until I opened it up myself and broke one of the ribbon connectors. My godfather still uses an iMac G4 Cube that celebrated it's tenth birthday last year for word processing. Apple products are generally lauded for their high build quality and reliability.

I signed up for lovefilm for free and got a free amazon voucher (then cancelled the account) and ended up getting £30 off a new ipod Don't know if the offers still going, but there are ways to be sneaky
