Re: Cheapest place to buy an I-podI have an ipod mini circa 2004 that still works a treat!(Original post by walterwhite123)
I wouldn't buy any Apple product secondhand, their lifespan isn't great as it is.
It has needed the battery replaced, as with charging the battery life just gets lower and lower, but they last a few years before it becomes useless and you can a new one for a £5 off ebay
The headphones are a bit crappy, I've broken so many and they're quite expensive for what they are. You can get cheaper alternative when they eventually pack in, or invest in some fancy headphones that'll last a much longer time. -

Re: Cheapest place to buy an I-podThe stores have to buy their stock from Apple, so apple can just refuse to supply them if they undercut Apple's stores.(Original post by walterwhite123)
How would they do that?
A simple look at both websites shows that Amazon sell it for £16 cheaper.
Must have changed their ways in the last couple of years, because when I was looking for one back in about '09, everywhere was the same price as Apple stores, unless you got it second hand. -
Re: Cheapest place to buy an I-podI have 64gb of music (but i could trim a few GB of that I never ever listen to).(Original post by Alofleicester)
Depends really on how much space you're likely to need. Are you likely to need more than 64GB any time soon? -
Re: Cheapest place to buy an I-podApple aren't stupid. They want to sell as many as they can. Refusing to supply Amazon would be ridiculous and possibly illegal.(Original post by Alofleicester)
