Its not something that you need to install on computer.

Mulitply both sides by (2t-3),

Re: make subjectIt's not something your computer needs to 'have'. It's built into the forum post editor. You just write (latex) and (/latex) (except use square brackets [] instead of round brackets () ) at the beginning and end of the latex you're writing.(Original post by otrivine)

There's a guide here on how to write various things:

Anyway. For this question you first want to get rid of the fraction so what must you do? -
Re: make subjectno i finished revising trig now for c3 and i understand there are 3 questions i want my teahcer to go over and now i am revising c4 Cartesian equations(Original post by raheem94)
Don't mind, a few minutes ago you were doing C3 trig, now you are doing O-Level rearranging. Maths shouldn't be learnt in this way, you should first strengthen your basics before moving forward.
tell me now if this is bad revision technique? -

Re: make subjectYep. So try that and show is your working (or just your answer if you're confident you can get it now).(Original post by otrivine)

Re: make subjectMy technique is different.(Original post by otrivine)

I self-study maths. I first finish one module, chapter wise, then move on to the next. What i mean by 'finish' is that i try to completely understand it, so that i don't need to do past papers. Then on the day before the exam i just go through the examples in the book again, and do 1-2 past paper. -
Re: make subjectI think this is part of C4 Parametric Equations. But I do agree this part of parametric should be going back to basics; but from my experience with other students in my school many people find rearranging the equation quite difficult (even though it should've been extensively covered at GCSE).(Original post by raheem94)

Re: make subjectThis question can easily be made clear by using brackets, unfortunately most people don't care to use brackets.(Original post by steve2005)
It would be OK if people could use BRACKETS. In this case one pair of brackets is all that is needed.
x = t/(2t-3)
LaTex doesn't takes much time to understand, so it is worth to have a go in learning it. The basics of LaTex can easily be mastered in an hour. -
Re: make subjectso is this correct so far 2tx-3x=t(Original post by hassi94)
Yep. So try that and show is your working (or just your answer if you're confident you can get it now). -
Re: make subjectMost people tend to leave many parts of the chapter while learning, i really don't like this way.(Original post by hassi94)

If a person goes through each and every point in the chapter, then he won't have such difficulties. Rearranging is something that you start learning in year 8, so when a person comes in A-Level i don't think he should have any problem with this. -
Re: make subjecti appreciate you are helping me but i am doing all the exercise from c4 book and i am getting correct it is this one i am stuck and TSR is the best place for help.(Original post by raheem94)
Most people tend to leave many parts of the chapter while learning, i really don't like this way.
