    Standard/Intensive pathway at the OU?
    Hi,

I'm hopefully registering for the Open University this week to do either psychology or criminology & psychological studies. The only problem is that the psychology degree only has a standard pathway meaning it can only be studied in a minimum if four years, I really want to study it in three years and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to study it in three years on the standard pathway?

    Thanks

Usually to study in around 3 years, you would need to do 120 credits per year. Meaning that in most cases you would need to study 2 modules simultaneously.

Although they may have designed the degree to take 4 years, there may be some flexibility. Sometimes they want you to take one module before another but you can ask if you could take those same modules at the same time.
