what Hakz said. It might not be the most glamorous maths dept in the UK (though, still quite good), but you have the UCL brand name to back you up.

You should choose your future educational institution according to your preferences. If you don't like living on campus, there's no point going to Warwick as you'd struggle there for 3-4 years (I don't know how long it takes there).

I have no clue about maths at UCL, I'd say it's decent albeit definitely not in the same league as ICL, Warwick or Oxbridge. However, you shouldn't presume that UCL's an automatic ticket to a great job, even graduates with prestigious unis are turned down nowadays as the market is so competitive.

Re: UCL Security Studies vs KCL War Studies
I'm at UCL studying Politics currently. Humm, Its a tough one.
On the one hand, UCL is better regarded- In terms of UK and World League tables. However, War studies at Kings is renowned as being the best in the country.
UCL is great and i'm sure Kings is too. Both are in the centre of London and are amazing uni's.

UCL vs. X official question thread
I've seen a lot of threads asking which is better for their course or just general indecision and most go unanswered so I've decided to make a specific thread for such questions to make them easier to be answered

Last minute soliciting of opinions - PPL at KCL or P&E at UCL
I've sorta decided what I wanted but I'm posting to see if anyone manages to sway my opinion before I make the confirmation. Basically, I'm interested in the four areas of Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law. I've decided I would choose the KCL course simply because it covers 3 out of the 4 areas I am actually interested in. After which I would head on to do a MSc Economics at maybe LSE (1 year diploma + 1 year MSc).. The alternative was Philosophy&E at UCL followed by P/G entry Law at maybe Oxford or a JD and then a MA in Politics.

Are there any objections based on any of the following reasons?
    1. Ability to complete all four areas in a shorter time frame with the UCL offer
    2. Better challenge academically for UCL?
    3. Reputation of school and career prospects?
    4. Chance at investment banking - everyone wants a shot at this, I just want to get the most out of what I have (not sure how banks will handle applicants which only have a MSc and not a BSc)

Re: UCL vs. X official question thread
I have an offer from UCL MSc Economics with full tuition scholarship (without living expenses) and I am also pre-selected for the interview of College of Europe's European Economic Studies (full scholarship in case if I am successful). My career goal is to get into a top PhD program and find employment at international organizations such as World Bank, IMF, European Union or OECD. Would you please help me to compare these two programs? My preference is UCL but I know that College of Europe also has a high reputation. Also, does anyone know what questions are asked on the interview of European Economic Studies?

    Thank you in advance

Unfortunately interview question discussion isn't allowed for obvious reasons of getting an upper hand!
