I haven't done the actual ride but the distances seem similar to a number of trips I've done in the past. The four days are 129km, 123km, 110km and 101km, and you can choose your pace, the slower one is 12mph. It's not too hilly, and you won't have to carry much.
I don't generally "train", but clock up around 40 miles a week cycling to school and places with the occasional weekend ride (20 to 60 miles) thrown in.
Asking your friend if you can go for a ride together first, anything from 20-40 miles to see how you feel, then you can work out from there how much training you need to do
