Basically, i have 39 and 42 for the two core modules. 100 for Unit 2 and 85 for the ISA.

How much marks do i need in Unit 3 to get an A* and if i resit the 39 how many marks do i need to improve by?

It depends - is this AQA, and if so, how many marks are the scores 39 and 42 out of?

Yes it is AQA and they are out of 50 each

So you have 266/300 UMS points overall atm. For AQA, you need to score 360/400. So on the last paper, you need 94 UMS for an A* overall.
