Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaWay to bring Hillsborough and Heysel up when it has nothing to do with anything being discussed. Nice one.(Original post by Jim-Jam)
When Liverpool players do whine to the ref, the club gets ****ing fined. Chelsea and Man U do it in the same week and nothing happens.
So **** off with the 'Always the victims' ****. Are you not going to use the 39 dead Italians as another stick to beat Liverpool with?
You're as bad as Chelsea's fans, can't even hold a minute silence for a player who dropped dead or for 96 people who didn't deserve to die.
Scum. -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaAre you for real?(Original post by Kevmeister)
If you want to believe they were booing his death that's your prerogative. Its quite clear they were booing the silence, due to the fact that Chelsea had to play late on the Sunday with Barca to play afterwards.
You CHOOSE to believe what you want though, don't let logic get in the way.
The silence was there, it was happening, they could have been respectful. -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaThey could have been, they weren't.(Original post by Jim-Jam)

Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaHow can you condone a whole club/ set of fans for the action of a few idiots?(Original post by Jim-Jam)
Then why are you defending it?
How can you condone booing during minute's silence? -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaI didn't defend it? I merely pointed out that its my belief, based on logic, that they didn't boo the silence for the lad's death, more for the Hillsborough part which meant yous playing a day before despite Chelsea having to play Barca in the week after.(Original post by Jim-Jam)

The actions of the minority was abhorrent. Everyone agrees on that, ffs. -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaThat's overcomplicating things and looking for an excuse ffs, even Chelsea fans aren't dumb enough to do that.(Original post by Kevmeister)

That is probably the reason, but it was still really disrespectful. -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaBecause he's the fan of the opposition who just lost. I bet if they had won, he wouldn't be raising this issue.(Original post by USB)

Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaLiverpool have more fans than the seat allocations (20,000). So yeah, easy to miss out I'm guessing.(Original post by Marshyy)

Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaIF anything, that proves it is in!(Original post by Multitalented me)
Well I'm pretty sure the crossbar is supposed to be directly above the goal line but the main point is that all of the ball didn't cross the line
The line is thinner than the crossbar so when you go directly above - as they did on ITV (I was watching it) it was just in.
100% in. (just about) -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaWhat do you mean "potentially"? The game has happened so, if the ball had cross the line, Liverpool have already been "robbed".(Original post by user2334)
so yeah - 2 lucky chelsea decisions. First tottenham robbed and now liverpool (potentially)
The new manchester united?
But it didn't cross the line and was actually a superb save that, in my opinion, should go down in history alongside Montgomery's double save in Sunderland's 1973 FA Cup win. -
Re: FA Cup Final 2012 - Liverpool Vs ChelseaThe line is actually thicker than the crossbar & the ITV pic shows that it was still touching the line.(Original post by user2334)
