Re: How do I fully detach myself from social media sites so I can revise effectivelyAHAHA Omg, I deleted BBM but I need facebook and twitter to contact people and know about opportunities !(Original post by xoxAngel_Kxox)
I wish I knew.
I deactivated my Facebook for a grand total of ten hours.
And just spent the time using Twitter instead.
I will ALWAYS find SOME WAY of procrastinating! -

Re: How do I fully detach myself from social media sites so I can revise effectivelyWhat he said.
If you google 'block distracting site' there's a bunch of add-ons and programs that can block stuff. Self-control didn't really work for me, but 'StayFocusd' is a nice little Chrome add-on that does the trick. There's a similar one for Firefox as well. -
Re: How do I fully detach myself from social media sites so I can revise effectivelyDon't bother deactivating because it's way too easy to re-activate. Get a trusted friend to change your passwords for you and tell them not to you let you until after the exams.(Original post by @chante_Jos)
I'm no addict but I feel that I spend too much time on facebook and twitter I have my GCSE's this month how do I get my head straight and focus ? I need to be put of them for the next two months !
make sure it is a TRUSTED friend, my best friend managed to convince everyone I was pregnant by posting an ultrascan picture on my facebook and twitter, I had so many confused phonecalls during my revision sessons
