    Qatar 2022 World Cup plans
They look insane. Check out the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=oM0Je0MLVI0

Also, they have plans to moderate temperature with the use of fake clouds:

Yet I still think it was an utter joke to award it to Qatar.

I hope they award it to Mars for the 2026 WC (WOW, how far away does that seem, and it's only two world cups away), may as well go for somewhere that isn't well equipped or even available, once again.

    Good decisions Fifa.

Sour puss . Mad Russia beat you?
Forget the country names. Look at the plan videos and tell me the Qatar plans aren't a level above the others.

I find it ridiculous that Qatar is hosting the WC in 2022. I mean, seriously, wtf ?!

Ted Talks had some interesting talks about the Qatar 2022 World Cup and what they were planning on doing was interesting.

Not really bothered, but just find it mad how a country where it is apparently a physical impossibility to play a 90 minute match and a country where they still throw bananas at black guys are chosen.

Again besides the fact that it's Qatar there is absolutely nothing you can find wrong in the plans. They are simply on a whole new level.

A tiny country with a lot of money and no footballing pedigree.
A committee that seems to not know much about football yet like raking it in.

For Sepp Blatter, World Cup + Qatar = $.

For football fans, World Cup + Qatar = :zomg:

What's the point, there will be NO legacy at all.

No-one is going to use them stadiums after the tournament.

Its 50 degrees isn't it? The supporters travelling between stadiums and the players won't be able to cope with that.

    No legacy

    Are they even serving alcohol?

The climate issue was solved already.
    1994 - US climate .

    http://articles.latimes.com/1994-07-...90_1_world-cup

Again this ''issue'' has been debunked.
Brazil temperatures can go up to 40.
South Africa temperatures went up to 35.

None of the above had artifical clouds.

Get the **** over yourselves. Every country deserves a fair shot.

If it's a bomb, fair enough, criticise. Till then STFU unless you have something intelligent to say.

    40 degrees on hottest days.

Artificial clouds will control the weather.
    Alcohol will be served.
Legacy is subjective and frankly not even a real criteria for choosing a hosting nation.

fake cloud system posted in the OP shows temperature for Qatar's WC can be dropped to 25 degrees. Although I think it may just be for the final.

40 degrees, :nooo: still amazingly hot.

I disagree I think legacy is the most important part of hosting a tournament, to see the facilities being used to help the host nations nurture the talent of the new generation. :dontknow:
    Rather than just being empty...

Once the tournament is over the stadiums will be donated to poor african countries.

Tell me that isn't something worthy.
