Hey guys, I'll be coming to Bath for Postgraduate MSc Fluid Power Systems in Oct. Unfortunately I wasn't able to pay much attention to my application due to my final exams. As a result I've yet not applied for accommodation. As of now, only University Managed Housing is available. Any idea how good/bad it is? I am now considering private accommodation. Any suggestions would be a great help.

Hi rushil9.. university Managed housing is just like going for private accomm.. the only difference is that it is managed by university.. so there is less trouble since it is arranged by university.. And all the halls are booked as of now.. so when filling your application do mention in additional notes column that you want to be considered for xyz courts(wherever you want to stay).. Not all students would be firming BATH in the end... so you might get a place in halls...

Hi everyone, I am Melissa from Mumbai, India. I have been accepted unconditionally to the Advance Management Practice. I was wondering if any one of you have applied to pulteney court, cause I cannot find anyone from the school of management who has applied there so was thinking probally will find someone from another school.

    Hi Vishal,

I'm from Mumbai. If you haven't yet applied for accommodation, then I doubt you'll have any option other than to apply for Uni Managed Housing. You can mention your preference in your application. But I recommend you to also look at private accommodation side by side on studentpad. You are assured accommodation if you apply before 31st July.

Just something I came across and I think everybody should read if they are considering a government job or working in a public sector company in India on completion of Masters in UK.

    Hey everyone,

I am also going to be starting MSc Management. I haven't applied for accommodation so am thinking of private accommodation in a shared house. If anyone has any advice or is in the same situation - get in touch!
