Changing degree subject - First Year.
    Hey guys,

I've got a question about changing degrees at Edinburgh Uni and if you could help me out then that would be great. I've got an unconditional offer to study Geography and Politics but I'm thinking of changing degree courses to International Relations.

Would it be easy to change my degree subject once I'm at uni? I'm not entirely sure how I would do so but if anyone can help me out then that would be great.

    Thanks.

So long as you do all the required courses you can. All IR and Politics required courses are the same until 3rd/4th year but maybe you'll skip some due to joint honors? I'm not sure how that works. If you did miss some in first year then you'd need to do then in second year along with the second year required courses. So yeah it's easy enough though I'm assuming you mean after first year. I have no idea how you'd do it before starting since I think they assume you won't change your mind so soon
