People who want something for nothing and don't understand economics. People riddled with white guilt who hate their own country. People who are consumed by jealousy. People who want an all powerful government running their lives as they're too weak and pathetic to take personal responsibilities. People who actually give Marx an ounce of credit. Criminals who want an easy ride.

Degenerates vote Labour.

They are easily persuaded by their false promises and lax attitude to the important issues.

Never a truer word said. It's a shame you have red gems, you speak a lot of common sense on this site.

I shall never forgive the Labour party for what they put my family through during 2009-10.

I'm sorry... what labour put your family through? Please clarify that statement, because it seems you are under a grave misapprehension, my friend.
Being poor generally

I won't be voting labour, they have basically ruined this country with their spend spend spend policy

Please clarify "spend spend spend"? Just before the financial crisis debt to GDP was at about 35%, which is an extremely healthy level.

Looking at the Tories, they will borrow more in the period 2010-2015 than Labour did from 1997 to 2010.

Seems like you need to get your facts straight.

and worst of all open door migration policy = stupid.

Which has been continued under the Tories. And this is a reason I'm a member of the Labour party; top try to change this open door policy that is supported by the three major parties

Because the Daily Mail told them to. The end.

EDIT: For the millionth time you pedantic prats, I get it, the DM isn't aligned with Labour. What do you losers want, a cookie?

Their inability to budget.
I'm undecided, but if I ever did vote Labour it would be because they seem to be more pro-Europe.
I understand your frustration with the party, but the measures taken, were those than any party would in difficult times. The labour party isn't even what you can call "Socialist" anymore. They believe in the power and security of the state and helping those who need it. Unfortunately, they were in administration during one of the worst global finance disasters of all time, if you have anyone to blame, it is the Global stock markets who caused the crash, not the government. In their situation you would have no choice but to bail out the banks.
It is important to remember that during Labour rule from 1997-2006, the country was experiencing one of the highest rates of economic growth since the Industrial Revolution.
I sympathise with your position, but the times of austerity have worsened under Conservative government, and they have even increased borrowing. May I also quote the Bedroom Tax, which is taking money off those who need it the most.

I hate to be a preacher but this is just my opinion, people vote for Labour, because they believe that change in needed and more support for the poor and working class is one of the most important issues facing our country.

They have every intention of becoming part of a European Superstate, we now have no control or very little say in who walks into this country to kill the welfare system and finally put the nail in the coffin of the NHS, we don't have enough housing or space or jobs for thousands more migrants from eastern Europe thanks to Labours insane policy of giving everything away, including our sovereignty our laws our identity and our very existence as the British nation.....Voting labour this time is suicide for the UK.

The Tory government of course are also borrowing at a much higher level than the labour government did, difference is this "spend, spend, spend" is replaced by "cut, cut, cut" by the Tories. We are not saving, the policies on unemployment, benefits, pensions and education are nothing short of criminal. I don't understand how Joe Bloggs on the street can sanely vote for a party of multimillionaires who don't understand the wishes of those on the street.

And yes, it is Labour who put the nails in the NHS coffin, the NHS that labour created, the NHS that the Tories are looking to abolish through the disgusting tactic of privatisation.

A European superstate is not a bad thing, the idea that you are frightened about your identity changing from British to European is ridiculous. Also irregardless of your EU membership, you remain British.

And last point, housing shortages? You completely ignored why we have housing shortages, Thatchers idea to sell off council houses for pittance has meant the poorer people have been exploited by private landlords, instead of being able to build affordable, rentable, council houses.

I vote Labour because the Tories a simply a bunch of thieving, cowardly billionaires that couldn't give a toss about me.

and THIS is exactly why every Labour supporter votes that way- not because Labour are a great party, because they are deluded into believing something bad about the tories.

How sad a political party doesn't have natural support for its policies- its support stems from hatred of another party. This is why you see Labour areas are very small geographically and very sporadic- like a cancer. Their voters only vote because of things the tories did to their local area- rather than vote for the best party for the country.....

Considering those types of people prefer to read The Sun I think it's best we ignore their wishes and concentrate on the wishes of the more educated middle class!

Possibly because some of us recall the incredible damage done to families/the economy/society by the conservatives during the 80s and 90s

Just watched a program on the beeb "young, bright and right" about all the conservatives at cambridge,

Wow- what were the chances leftie BBC doing a documentary like that eh?

Original post by lbsf1
all of their little port parties and commitee's for providing the cheese to their weekly meets.

People arent allowed to have parties? I thought most of Labour's voters are in one continuous party- never working!

Original post by lbsf1
Honestly I could never vote for something like that. Stop being so stuck up your own ass and think if you are going into politics remember that you are serving the people, thus do what is best for the majority not your own little minority.

Oh yes, because Labour did what was best for the majority? Did the majority want uncontrolled immigration? Dumbed-down education? Massive deficit? Half our gold sold cheap?

Original post by lbsf1
Hence why they don't like proportional representation. To get the economy moving we need working and middle class spending, so squeezing them isn't the answer.

Squeeze the wealth-generators (business owners) and the middle class wont have any companies to work for!

Original post by lbsf1
Wow that was a long rant, simply they are all crap but labour at the moment is the least crap apart from being led by Ed wallace and gromit Milliband.

Yes lets have a party who:

-Got rid of the proper house of lords
-Took us to war for no reason
-Ruined the social fabric of this country through uncontrolled immigration, ruining the communities of many towns.
-Selling half our Gold at the lowest price in 30 years.
-Giving us one of the biggest deficits ever
-Pressuring companies to hire X black/gay/disabled people a year
-Ruined education, sending every idiot to university

The only good things they did:

-Smoking ban
-BoE independence
-Minimum wage

The selling off of public services and (previously) state owned industries to companies/individuals who have no moral nor legal obligations regarding those services/industries

Would be one example

I like the idea of state-ran train services- but from what I have been told it was utter crap and too inefficient, it had to go private. I also agree with state-ran utility companies (basically all the important stuff).

Selling British Airways, British Telecom etc- I think we can live without!

What companies were you thinking of?

These (and elements of the education and health services)

It would have been better to adopt policies which rationalised and ensured efficiency rather than take a blanket approach of sales
