Re: What is wrong with me?I'm not sure I see what you're asking here. Do you want advice on your lifestyle and the exam preparation? Because if so, it's completely ridiculous to cut off from socialisation and work ten hours a day, six months in advance. You will never keep that level of working up, you will burn out and end up in trouble.(Original post by wannabeartist89)
I'm studying for one of the most important exams of my life, which is six months away. I've decided to cut myself off from socializing apart from the bare minimum as I need to put in atleast ten hours of studying a day.
However, over the past few days, I can't see very well. My reflexes have slowed, I've been seeing double. If I'm climbing down a flight of stairs, I keep thinking Im going to take a wrong step and tumble down. I can't see the stairs very well. I have a dull throbbing headache continuously and my eyes feel heavy.
If you want help with the fact you've been feeling ill, then all I can recommend is go to the doctor. It's likely to be partly caused by the stress you're putting yourself under, but could be something else too. -

Re: What is wrong with me?
don't study 10 hours a day for an exam 6 months away. You will inevitably collapse at thee exam and none of the info will have stuck. socialising is GOOD, as is taking a break and PACING yourself. you're doing all the worst things you can do to prepare for exams. oh and make sure you're sleeping, exercising and eating enough

Re: What is wrong with me?You don't seem to understand. Working this hard this solidly will not work. Humans are not designed for that sort of thing, you simply can't do it. You'll end up either running out of motivation and giving up, or burning out from the stress, making yourself ill and messing up anyway. You have to be realistic about this. You can't go six months without social interaction, you will genuinely go insane. People are social creatures and if you don't take time off from working regularly, you'll become completely ineffective. You're ill already, when did you bring in this new working regime - a few days ago? It's simply not sustainable.(Original post by wannabeartist89)
It's a make or break exam for me really, all the internet forums I've been reading are full of guys who study eight months in advance, so I'm late I suppose. I'm under a lot of stress, if I don't make it, that's it.
