    Olympics
What's the big deal? It's pretty **** really, isn't it? Nice to know the UK capital is pretty much a no go due to this waste of time.

Biggest sporting event in the world being held in our country. It's a great honour and great for the country.

    Great honour

Now if it was the football world cup...a sports event the country may actually be interested in.

Based on your lack of understanding of the world outside yourself this may be hard to grasp, but you do realise some people in this country might be interested in a sport other than football?

I'm struggling to be interested if I'm honest, it wont be any different to any other Olympics, except it will get even more news coverage.

i cant see a problem with it ... its a great honour for the country to host the olympics, will bring in money for the economy and generally be a good experience.
plus it gets me a job

I don't have a problem with the Games itself, just take issue with some of the sponsors - McDonald's and Coke. Nothing says "health" like those two brands...

To be fair they pay the money and common sense has to be used. If someone is stupid enough to think because the Olympics are sponsored by McDonalds then they can eat it every day they are just stupid.

Tickets for virtually every event were massively over-subscribed. I think people are interested in it.
