Strathclyde or Edinburgh for Civil Engineering
    Hi,
Is there people who studied/applied civil engineering in Strathclyde or Edinburgh uni? I'm still undecided in which one would be the best.

Edinburgh is suppose to be very famous worldwide, but I also heard they rely a lot on that. Whereas Strathclyde innovate more and apparently they do have very strong tie with industry, but so do Edinburgh I suppose.

Beside that I had an overview of both program and seems more or less quite the same.

    Thanks a lot

Strathclyde has a really good reputation, with really good links, but Edinburgh has the name..hard desicion.
Edinburgh has a higher offer, right?

I'm going to Strathclyde for Civil Engineering this September. Didn't apply to Edinburgh, but applied to Glasgow. I went with Strathclyde because of the industry links.
