    Question about Nightlife/social life...please help!
So I've got a couple of days left to chose my firm choice and although it may not seem important, one of the deciding factors it comes down to it the social life
I have bad health right now, so unless things improve I don't think I'd reeeallly be up for clubbing in Brighton so here are some questions:
Is the Sussex nightlife club orientated? How often do people go to pubs? How often are there house parties in halls? Do people ever just stay on the club on campus on a night out? How often do the nightbuses run from brighton to the campus? Do people ever get together for film nights etc?

My main concern is that everyone will just go to Brighton the whole time, and I won't be up to being on my feet for that long, stay home and miss out on a social life/making friends.

Also does anyone have a link to the optional module catalogue - I can't find it?!

You will be surprised, there's a house party everyday in each house somewhere, just listen to where the music is playing and just follow it lol :P. On campus there are two bars East Slope & Falmer, East slope is the more chilled out one, livelier, whereas Falmer is more how shall i put it.... mature. There are loads of societies to join as well which stay mainly on campus. Not every goes into Brighton, unless you want to go clubbing, that is the only reason why people go to brighton in night time.

Thanks for the reply, the deadline was on the 9th so I put Bristol  After your answer it sounded like sussex might have been easier for me social life wise, so if things don't work out to plan this year I'll know Sussex is still a great option and hopefully it'll have helped someone else in a similar to position to me!

Hi this may seem a weird question and I hope no one is offended but can I just ask how gay Brighton actually is? Im not homophobic but wouldn't want to live somewhere I wasn't comfortable. Whats it like as a place to live in your a straight student not into drugs and the 'hippy' lifestyle?

    thanks
