Both teams played well, City deserved to win (so many opportunities ballsed up too).

The fact that City might win the premier league is such a strange feeling. I AM SO EXCITED

That was painful at times but the goals made it all good. I hope Newcastle are still able to make it into the Champions League places.

Haven't seen one Lpool fan on here saying anything like that.

Like I said to someone else, stop taking your frustration out on other fans just because your team choked. It's pathetic. You've enjoyed dominance in the EPL for the last couple of seasons but City were simply better this year. Suck it up and move on.
lol_this is just simply a troll, shes obsessed with attacking Liverpool fans, 90% of her posts is in the Liverpool thread....

Good win for City, Newcastle tried their best but City had too much quality with Toure being the big difference.

Oh no, we're only in the Europa League.

Clearly, that's not up to our expectations when most tipped us to struggle this year.

Well played City, thank goodness they won. Looks like Newcastle's luck has run out. Hope next game sees them out of the top 4.
It's ridiculous to even insinuate that this season has been down to luck. City played better today and won. Newcastle still played well.

We've had a great season, but please don't say we played well. We sat back and invited pressure on to ourselves for at least 30 minutes each half.

We definitely didn't pay our best. My definition of playing well is possibly different to yours.

We definitely weren't at our best, we looked like the away team for the entire match. I don't think you can define that as playing well @SJP.

True but we made chances and defended reasonably well the majority of the time. It's not like we were a disaster.

No, I'm not saying we were abysmal, but we weren't great. You'd think we'd at least play better, given we had so much at stake. Pardew pretty much said City were too good for us, but I disagree. There are plenty of things Pardew could have done, like playing a 4-3-3, but with Ba on the right and HBA on the left, where he looks so much better. Having an extra person in the centre of midfield would not only help contain players like Yaya Toure, but it would also allow Cabaye further forward. All he was doing the entire game was chasing shadows in front of our back four. Perch was ok, but he's never going to be good enough either.
