Moving to the UK & Entry Level Jobs
    Hi,

I am from Australia and still living in Australia and working on my accounting degree.

I am 22 and I really want to move to the UK for a fresh start and to experience the culture and lifestyle there.

Does anyone know how I should go about this in terms of visas and whether on that visa I would be able to obtain an entry level or graduate job in accounting?

Has anyone tried moving to the UK with an accounting degree before? Any success?

    Thanks,

    Kyta

In terms of the visa, first thing to do is see if you qualify for an ancestry visa (if you have one grandparent born in the UK) because this will get you five years. You will be able to get a working visa for two years but this wont be long enough for you to become qualified. The final option is sponsorship but this is a long complicated process that I'm not overly familiar with.

It might be best to get your accountancy qualification in Australia and then move over afterwards.
