This could be self selective though ie, fitter girls will get distracted by Guys more etc so they do not make it to top unis as much.(Original post by sabre2th1)
Girls at these top universities are so damn ugly.. urban girls are the one, unfortunately they are always at unis like middlesex lol.
Whereas a less attractive girl receives less attention from guys ie is distracted less and is more focuses on academics = entry to top tier uni. -

1. I don't think it is fair to say that the girls here tend to be unattractive. I originally thought the stereotype would be quite true, but I think Cambridge proves the stereotype to be false.
2. The part in bold is just a bit ridiculous. This implies that attractive girls cannot be ambitious or intelligent and work to get into a top university. It also suggests that an attractive girl will always be distracted with boys and this must mean they cannot concentrate on work. Do these attractive girls have no self-control, or do they just spend their time basking in the attention? Surely they could just ignore the attention from the guys and work? -

Back on Topic:
Considering some colleges like (Queens, Selwyn) are like 70% + boys, I guess that the female colleges like Murray Edwards, Newnham ( Virgin megastore), would get the most more so if you are a guy who hangs around these colleges, your chances of getting laid increase significantly. -
