Numeracy Level 2? Help..

Hi,

My sister is 23 year old and she failed her Maths and English at school with really bad grades..

Credit to her, she has actually worked hard since leaving school (with one gcse i think lol).. She went college and did some courses related to administrating etc.. She's currently a receptionist in a school.. She wants to get up the ladder at the school but her manager said it's unlikely due to the fact that she hasn't passed her maths and english..

She really does not want to do her GCSEs again..

So i was wondering, what courses are out there that are equivalent to maths and english?? Even if they are not equivalent, i would still like to know ..

I was doing some research and found a course called Function skills maths Level 1 and 2... and functional skills english level 1 and 2 ..
My question is..

Is there a charge?? and where can my sister actually do these courses??
