    No.

    1) You're not married
    2) You're far too young.
I don't think marriage has much to do with it these days.

I pray this imbecile doesn't reproduce

I call obvious troll though, because of the oh-so-cliche spelling mistakes scattered carefully throughout.

Here's an idea, if you think bringing a new baby into the world is selfish, then why not adopt? Change the life a little baby that needs a home now and you get the baby you guys both want. just a suggestion, good luck!
Tell that to the people in charge of the process. The adoption journey is just one massive hoop broken down into smaller ones. Yes, they have to ensure that the baby is going to be safe, but that can be accomplished using common sense.

Common sense? I think people would want a bit more than that involved when choosing where to put a baby.

    You missed the point.

I don't disagree with checks, but the process could be sped up if they weren't spending their time trying to trip prospectus parents.

Profile says she's 29, how on earth is that too young?

And why is everyone banging on about the welfare state in this thread when she says they've both got jobs?

But I'm calling troll on this one anyway.

Unless they're on a high income, they'll be claiming some form of benefit.

Hardly enough to be "dependant on the welfare state", which is what AverageExcellence said.

Iron Lady is the type of person that thinks nuclear families are the best thing ever and that your parents have to be married.

    Re: Having a baby
There are many reasons why you shouldn't

    1) NEW BOYFRIEND??? You probably hardly know eachother and wouldn't be able to give the child something it greatly needs STABILITY
    2) You can't give it stability if you're unmarried and in a new relationship which leads on to no 3
    3) If you can;t be commited to eachother in every way possible, how can you commit to a child that you'll be bound to forever and which will bind you not only to them forever, but their family too!
    4) You can't be that sure of it or you wouldn't be asking us

Don't do it, you'll just produce another ****ed up kid with separated parents

    whaw so many answers lol
ha ! my new boyfriend.........this newness is actually 3 years old. ok it's not that long but when you go through difficult times with someone you tend to know each other pretty well. I'm not affraid for this baby to end up alone, but teens these days, they seem so messed up and confused, look at these crap games like chocking games and such..you can't be around your kid 24/7 how can you protect him/her from bad influences?

With the right parenting you won't have to be around the child 24/7, and you'll have to accept that in the end what ever they do is their decision.

There's nothing wrong with no being married. A relative has a child and isn't married.

I don't know why people are saying marriage doesn't matter. You can't deny the stability it brings to a relationship. This isn't going to prove popular but I just think it's the best time for children.
