    Mexico City
Or perhaps not if you want to stay alive :creep:
In this case - Ciudad Juarez

    On a more serious note:

    Cities I have been to:

    Berlin, Germany
    Freetown, Sierra Leone
    Hamburg, Germany
    Cambridge, UK
    Oslo, Norway
    Vancouver, Canada

Cities I imagine to be amazing:

    Singapore
    Petra, Jordan
    Kinshasa, DR Congo
    Longyearbyen, Svalbard (Norwegian territory)

    Hi all,

Well I'm going abroad over the summer and in my Gap year:

I'm going to 4 cities: New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and London.

I was wondering what people thought was the coolest City they have been to? Also Out of the 4 I'm going to - which did people prefer?
Wow they are the exact 4 places I want to go to. Been to HK and London but not the other two. You will love HK

Why is New York a great city to party?
I chose Amsterdam and New York based on the quality of their night clubs.

round best city = San Francisco?
San Francisco has the perfect mix. Stunning architecture, International cuisine to match the finest dining in the world, an amazing arts scene from the established to the aspiring, an eclectic mix of cultures and sites (from the street performers at fisherman's wharf to china town, etc), A young but interesting history (Haight-Ashbury in the 60's, Alcatraz, etc). Heaps of museums, Exotic clubs, and don't forget the iconic cable cars. It's a subjective opinion, but it's a good one.

Well I guess different people, different opinions, but New York most definitely doesn't have the best nightclubs. It may have a vibrant nightlife and the 'city that never sleeps' moto but the nightclubs are below par for a big city, let alone in the world. It has many other qualities though...

Edinburgh and Prague have a very similar feel in my opinion...

I live in Edinburgh, wouldn't want to live anywhere else..beautiful architecture, low crime, good economy, great cultural scene, great bars, good countryside

I love London but am a little biased! If you do pop down to Sydney, make sure you give Melbourne a look. It's like Sydney's cooler cousin who doesn't try to hard but is still great. Lots of art and culture there too.
melbourne's the hipster capital of the southern hemisphere.

    sydney's the best.

I think Prague wins out slightly though. Pretty Czech girls and cheap, excellent lager beats fat British girls and Tennants :P

I know this will sound weird but Belgrade, the capital of Serbia is the most interesting city to live in the world!
Partying there is just crazy and you will feel like home as people are very polite.

Don't listen to CNN talking bad about Serbia and that bull****, but that country is so ****ing good!
In my opinion, i would rather live in Belgrade than in new york or so!

And chicks, OMG!! the nicest girls I have ever seen in my life!

Fair enough. I prefer Glasgow myself, I prefer the architecture and it has more character.

A few points. Edinburgh has very nice girls on a whole, middle class people in Britain tend to be attractive and Edinburgh is a very middle class sort of place - hence the girls are very hot..I was talking to an Aussie the other week who loves the girls around here. Second point is that Edinburgh gets loads of tourists from around the world which ups the standard hugely. Also, ironically I would say Prague gets a lot more of the British "lads on tour" "stag night" scum than Edinburgh.

Our alcohol is top notch, our own whisky and beer from all over the world

Lastly, Edinburgh is better because the citizens are way richer than Prague, I win!

Glasgow has some decent parts, I'm from a nice part of the borders so I fit in better in Edinburgh, but I still rate Glasgow..
