    Urgency!!!! CASS, ICMA or DURHAM?
    Hi guys,

I have to make my decision on Wednesday and I want to make sure that I will not make a regretful one..

    I am considering between:
    - BIF - Cass
    - Finance and Investment Banking ICMA - Reading
    - Business Finance - Durham

I am 90% sure that I would put Cass as my firm and Durham as insurance. However the location (london) of Cass is a big concern due to very expensive accommodation and many distractions. And City university is not very good as well.

FIB in ICMA is also attractive because the facilities (trading rooms) are the best among all business schools in UK (i think) and the degree is very specialized in IB. The pb here is that I am not sure is IB for me? And if not I will be very depressed cuz there is no similar finance course in Reading that I can transfer to (however I can transfer to IFRM from BIF if I change my mind?!?)

Durham has the best reputation overall but I am not sure about its business school and the course seems to me to be theoretical.

Overall would you pls give me any idea of where should I choose? Which one is the best for career prospects?

    Many thankssss!

You are making the right choice. Put Cass as Firm and Durham insurance.

BIF is an amazing course, places alot of students at tops Investment Banks and other financial institutions every year. Also the options to do a placement year at Cass is a very valuable experience of gaining work exp. Great location, put you are right living expenses can be a pain.

    Dear Ms. Thuythien,

Should you wish to speak with a current Cass BIF undergraduate student in advance of making your decision, do feel free to email emily.mancuso.1@city.ac.uk from the recruitment team and she will be happy to put you in contact with a student that may be able to answer some of your questions in advance of making your decision.

    Best of luck!
