Just a matter of interest, what are the questions of class? I didn't even look at it lol
Gender questions are not bad at all but I forgot to mention functionalist briefly...oh wellNot much revision on methods but I thought it was all about validity, access and sampling blablabla
    so yeah happy it's over!

I did Gender and was SO great full it wasn't ethnicity and class!! I predicted ethnicity / age and class / gender but wasn't sure. Thank God! I only studied gender and a it of age -____- what did u write about the unstructured question?
for the q about unstructured interview I mentioned interpretvism and a bit of feminist methodology as well, building up a rapport/verhesten, how the rapport would have helped Hebson ask personal questions and get a response and then just did advantages/disadvantages a bit. and then at the end said that if she wanted data high in both validity/reliability she could use methoological pluralism

Agree with REV28... Cant believe the first two method questions tho so disappointed! But I'm soo glad gender came up! Hopefully through my babbling of the first two I picked up a few marks
Yep hopefully we picked up some marks in first 2, definitely not full marks but hopefully enough to get into Cardiff!!

I got really stuck if I am honest lol.

For the 15 and 25, it was okay, although I wrote tons for the 25 lol. It was my longest answer in the whole exam lol.

I chose to do 3 so had social class.
I will be honest, I found these two questions impossible.

I saw the gender one and liked the look of the feminist bit but didn't like the look of the first bit lol. But thinking about it, I should have gone for it anyway as I had nothing to talk about for class. My mind went blank

So yeah, happy it's over lol
This is exactly what happened to me! Found question 2 the easiest and question 1 very off putting!

Hey guys glad it's over, I agree the first 2 methods questions were a bit iffy for ethics I said how gaining access to a group was difficult and using an informal gatekeeper raised issues about the group studied and put the researcher atoms oboe risk of violence or aggressive reaction also said about not being able to publish some social characteristics like age and gender which would weaken the evidence published and other stuff like not getting paid for doing it.

For the interviews I thought was quite nice and fitted in with feminists and Interpretivists and then you could obviously criticse with value freedom and positivist social facts etc. also social class is a subjective. Oncept so an interviewer could explain this where as a questionnaire would have to operationalise the term I said perhaps a questionnaire could of given her access to the upper class though as they are difficult to interview due to their gated communities etc.

Then the gender questions for essays were lovely haha basically talking about females being disadvantaged for 2 hours! Did anyone else for question 4a) say about women disadvantaged because I know the question was how men were advantaged so thought it meant you. Old reverse the question too.

This may be wrong as my brain tends to go into melt down during and after the exam but I think they were:

3A. Outline the evidence that class can affect life chances (or something like that)
3B. Outline and assess the functionalist explanations for social class stratification

I think they were something like that. Why the hell I chose this and not gender is still a mystery to me lol

Those questions seem alright, although i did gender.
I just hope the grade boundaries are supremely low.

For 4a I wrote a lot about women's disadvantages saying they advantaged men and said how they were in primary sectorr, better paid, more dominant in family so I did just basically switch the question
