I managed to lose 20 marks on 2 questions ... They are q 3 and 6 .. on June 2011 ... OCR M1

I have attatched my working... I tried to make sense of the markscheme but I genuinely could not understand it ... would anyone be able to help?

You have totally misread Q3

The block is on a horizontal surface .... the Force is at an angle

You need to resolve horizontally and vertically

When you resolve horizontally you will have

5 + TCosA = TSinA

You seem to have ignored tension in one part of the string

Ohhh! but can i just ask ... what does 60 degrees to the vertical for a force look like??
I just can't draw a diagram...
Will it just be 30 degrees from the horizontal??
